MOOOONSTER HOUSE

One of my favourite movies is MONSTER HOUSE I love it. It was probably at the cinema one month ago and it has only just came out on DVD here. It was great wasn't it.

The story was about three kids exploring a humungous terrifying house. It was pretty silly and funny and there was a bit of screaming.

I especially liked the bit where one of the characters named Chugger said, "Look at me I'm flying." when the house caught him by his cape and then the cape ripped and he fell. It was a bit funny.

The best character I liked was Chogger.

I found out what a uvula was.

Samuel

P.S I hope you enjoy it for the next few years.

Hi Samuel:
WOW... Sounds like a great time and I hope you can see it again soon. Chugger sounds like a fun character. Zachary and Paula are coming to Australia next week and I know they are excited to see you. Zachary always looks at your pictures on our computer and says: "there's Sammy!!". Love from Steven, Paula and Zachary.

Hello Samuel. Wow, am I impressed with your BLOG. You know this is the first one I've ever visited and it's GREAT! I loved your poem "I am" and the imginative way you expressed yourself. Some of your photos are impressive. I liked reading about your trip to Bellingen because I've been there lots of times and really like the place.I'm glad you're enjoying reading Harry Potter at the moment. I resd Matilda to my class two years ago and they really enjoyed it. Keep up the beaut work and I'll be sure to check your blog on a regular basis.

Hi Samuel,
What a fantastic blog for such a young boy. Although, when I read your poem and realised what a marvellous mind you have, I wasn't suprised. I have not seen the movie Monster House, nor have I read any Harry Potter books yet, your reviews make me want to start right now. I also love Roald Dahl, especially Matilda, I like to think of myself as Miss Honey sometimes. Have you read the BFG?
Looking forward to your next entry.

Hi Samuel. I'm embarrassed to say that this is my third attempt to write to you about Monster House! :-( Hopefully, this time it will work. My name is Jan and I met your very cool Dad last year when he came to NZ for a conference.
Anyway, my husband Drew really wants to see Monster House because he loves scary movies (and he thinks animation is cool!). But I don't like scary movies, so I think he'll need to get it out on DVD when I'm not here. Is it VERY scary?
However, I really love movies, so let me know what else you see. I'm looking forward to Shrek 3 - it looks very funny.
Jan :-)

Samuel,
This is a great blog - you should be very, very proud of yourself. You are a wonderful writer and it is very exciting to see all the things you have been reading and doing. I hope you will be happy for me to show some of the students here at University how impressive your blog is too, because they are learning about how to use blogs in their future classrooms when they become teachers.

Keep up the great blogging,

Hi Samuel,
I think I will need to go to the video shop and borrow this one because I am very curious about what an uvula is...I hope it isn't too scary!! I always like watching movies that make me jump a bit because it reminds you that you are ALIVE! You are developing a really interesting blog site and I love to see what your next entry will be - it is a good way to keep up to date with what my wonderful nephew is doing so far away from Sydney. Sending you big hugs :) love Nicky
