Learning to Knit

One of my favorite things to do is knitting. Knitting is relaxing and concentrating to do and it really challenging to do. I do it every morning and sometimes in the afternoon. I haven't been doing it for long so it is sometimes difficult for me.

I started knitting about one week ago. I'm very good so far with making a scarf for a little boy in Thailand.

At first Aunty Jodes taught me a bit and then Mum taught me an easier way.

You should give knitting a try because it is fun.

Looks like you are going to follow in nanna Margie's footsteps - she was a fantastic knitter and could follow very complicated patterns. If you are practising every day you will get really accomplished at it. I like knitting too and agree that it is relaxing. I am intending to knit a little jester's hat for peanut before he or she is born and I better hurry up because that's not too far away.
Love Aunty Nicky

I think it's wonderful that you are persevering with your knitting and doing it for someone else too.

Hi Samuel,

I'm a teacher in California, U.S.A. It is great that you are learning to knit! My mother taught me when I was a little girl, and I still love it. You are correct that it is relaxing.

Thank you for posting your blog.

Good luck to you, LHH
